The Department of Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgery at IGKC MULTISPECIALTY Hospital has various sub-specializations for the treatment of disorders of the musculo-skeletal system (muscles, bones & joints).
The department offers dedicated services for Trauma and General Orthopedics, Spine Surgery, Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction including Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement, Hip Resurfacing, Partial Knee Replacement as well as Replacement of Shoulder and Elbow joints. The Institute regularly carries out Arthroscopic procedure for sports and other injuries, Limb Salvage Surgeries for Bone Tumors and Reconstruction Surgeries for Deformities.
The department of Orthopedics & Joint Replacement Surgery has a dedicated team for the treatment of spinal ailments including: Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery for Disc Problems (Endoscopic / Microscopic / Microtubular Key Hole Surgeries); Scoliosis / Hypnosis, Correction Surgeries for Spinal Deformity; Spinal Tuberculosis Management; Spinal Bony Tumor Surgery; Spinal Pain Management; Vertebroplasty / Kyphoplasty for Spinal Fractures.
